Paying a ccj in Scotland?

Afternoon all
I'm in a dispute with a tradesman (the work was of a very poor quality) and when I pulled him up on it, he had a strop and is now shouting about small claims court.
He's in the wrong, and I'm very confident that it'll go in my favour but just in case it doesn't I wanted to check that a ccj won't show on my credit file if paid in 30 days? I've found plenty online about having the judgements set aside etc, but most of the advice is geared towards English courts and I'm in Scotland.
If anyone can confirm that my credit rating won't get destroyed, it would be much appreciated

Hi Bailey
Yes, if you settle the balance owing in full within one month of decree (the Scottish sheriff court equivalent of a judgment for debt) being entered against you, it will not be recorded on your credit file.
