Yeah, some of us are here to survive rather than just save but... we are still here.

Your time and assistance is much appreciated, Dobbibill. Wish me luck?

PO card came really quickly, no hassle, no checks, haven't actually used it yet...

So far, can't fault this card or the PO's customer service, payment went through just as you would hope, no issues so far... and we have a new boiler! Hot water, luxury! British Gas, well done.

Not feeling like it doesn't mean you aren't. You are in debt to the tune of 'around £1800'.

Like I said , those other credit cards are totally paid off and haven't been used for over 6 months.
If you have these still active with limits these get taken into account as available credit.

Don't want to rain on your parade but British Gas prices are at least 50% higher than a local heating installer would have charged.

£600 off in a few months is quite a bit of money and I don't know many people who have would have that money spare either after bills etc.
£600 isn't a lot of money to pay off even with interest applied, the fact that you seem to think so means that you're not in a good financial position and thus are using credit cards for the extra money each month despite the fact you may not be able to afford it.

My suggestion is that you pay off what you can, pay off as much as possible on the 0% and don't buy anything else (you've indicated future spending) that you can't afford.

Credit cards are for flexibility, not spending what you can't afford.

That's where you're wrong, he was £200 more.

Set up a direct debit with your bank for either the full payment or the min payment each month and you can pay more through internet banking. You can pay at the post office when your statement comes through but remember takes a few days to reach your card provider.

You should have got more quotes then. BG wanted £4800 to replace my boiler, got it done for £3200 by a local.

I did get more quotes... if you read the whole thread you would know that. I got 4 and BG, after I talked them down £313, were the cheapest: They did it for £2003.
