Clydesdale Bank MasterCard PPI new claim

Help - CB sent me final letter claim refused six months have passed and I found out recently about their fine and that they have to revisit all claims - Clydesdale will be reviewing all PPI complaints handled prior to August 2014 and offering redress to any customers impacted by these failings. Customers do not need to take any action – Clydesdale will be contacting all affected customers in due course.

I sent them a new claim and they called today to say that I do not need to do anything but they will look into it possibly in the next 12 to 18 months. They have not put this in writing so my new claim has been closed and they refer me back to the original claim. They will only write to me if my original claim was incorrectly dealt with. So I have no way of knowing that they have actually looked into my claim agin- unless I get a letter.

Can I demand a letter from them what should I ask for? Confused.

Thanks in advance.

No, you cannot demand anything as you are outside of the period of appeal. You just have to wait and see.
