Could you point me in the right direction please? I've looked through the threads twice now and can't find the crafting forumMatron_Midge wrote: »I can't do links on my iPad but, if you go further down the page than this post you will see a forum jump. Click where it says old style and up will come a list of all the different forums. if you tick crafting and then go, it will take you to the index and cross stitch cafe will be there at the top.
Maybe someone else can do a direct link for you. I feel you can't find it, send me a message and I'll send you a link from the pc- just can't be bothered to fire it up at the moment.

My wife is a cross stitcher (if that's the right word) and I bought her one of these for Christmas a few years back, she thinks it's one of the best pressies I ever bought her.

Ooh, I want one of those! I occasionally create my own cross stitch patterns from photographs, (I have software to do this) and a gadget like that would be so useful! If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

I photocopy and enlarge the chart so that it's easier to see the symbols and then use a highlighter to mark everything I've stitched on the copy - keeps the original pristine.0 -

I make a grid on my fabric with Gutterman Sulky thread to match the lines on the chart. This makes it easier to see if you've mis-counted. I scan and enlarge the chart too.
Gutterman Sulky is a very fine metallic thread which can easily be removed after stitching but an ordinary sewing thread would do as well.
