Business Credit Card

My current work have just mentioned getting me put on to their credit card account so that I don't have to keep getting petty cash for things like petrol and so I can order office supplies online.
The problem with this is that I have really bad credit and will not pass a credit check, but my work do not know this as I keep my personal difficulties, well, personal.
Will I be credit checked for being put onto the account? I would rather not have to have this conversation with my boss as it is embarrassing and not something I like to announce so if I won't be checked it can avoid me a humiliating conversation.
Any advice would be helpful.

AFAIK, there are different types of business cards, so it's worth saying what card it is.0

It is a RBS Mastercard. I can try and see if the account has a name.0

As far as I can see from the statements it is just an RBS business card.
I have found the application for additional cardholders, but can't tell if it is a full credit check or just a check for Fraud
