Ive listed my car on auto trade and then ebsy. It was probably priced tko high, but last listing I dropped price to a fair onf and lowest ID accept .
It's old, but low miles and great nick and with cambelt change, recent service and long mot.
I'm not wasting my time or money with private buyers now.
Who is likely to give me the best price? Do I ring local dealers?

Private buyers will give you the best price.
Traders will give you less than half of what your lowest price is, generally.
Is your lowest price anywhere near what others of the same vehicle/condtion/mileage are being advertised for?
Is your advert worded well, no spelling mistakes and with good photographs?0 -

Yep to all. Had most watchers this time round and my car is better condition and similarly priced to others. Maybe I need a 99p start auction with a reserve. I'm going to ring garagwsy first I think.0 -

All you need is the 30 days classifed advert, £14.99, if it sells quick you can normally get that back. All you need is one person that values your car the same as you.
99p Auctions are a waste of time - you need 2 people who think your car is valued the same as you!0 -
It's the money. It's always the money.
I've sold 5000 cars, if its clean and drives well, then it's too dear, they have yet to build a car that cannot be sold.0 -

Well, that escalated quickly. You're quite an unpleasant person, aren't you?0 -

Oh I do so hope not. I wouldn't know what to do with myself. How perfectly awful that would be...
