Urgent housing advice regarding letting agent and landlord

Please can I get some urgent advice in regards to the following: I live in a private rented (Through letting agent) 1 bedroom GFF. Initially was living alone. Now the letting agency are telling me, they need the details of carer for the “Rent Guarantee Insurance”

I declined to give any further personal details of carer.

If the carer is not a tenant and never will be, what relevance is the rent guarantee?

I already signed up for all that on mvoing into property, having had to have to Guarantors etc.

Letting agent "awaiting clarification from Let Alliance regarding your Landlords Rent Guarantee Insurance."

I did phone Let Alliance, but most unhelpful as they only work under instruction of letting agent
