Nope.
Because at my rate of wins they'd be obsolete by the time I got them. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
Yes! Glad to know it's not just me! I've just spent three months without a hoover- mopping the laminate floor downstairs and using a dustpan and stiff brush on the carpets upstairs (honestly I'm that sad). Finally gave up on the idea of winning one last weekend and bought one of those Morphy Richards 2-in-1 ones that are in the mags dailies at the mo. Will be sooo mad with myself if I win it! By the way it is brilliant- my best new toy ever. I'm no domestic goddess but I keep having to pop off for a little hoover up! And even the kids keep pinching it to clean their rooms. Yes really! Anyone that's not currently entering the comp in woman and home, I recommend to, it will be a super prize for someone.0

Well it sounds like I am not alone!
It's great that some of you have held out and finally won - fingers crossed to the rest of you.
I think I will wait until a week before my partner's Birthday before I buy that ipod!
Thanks for all your replies0 -
I used to, but I stopped as I never won anything I actually needed until last month. My £75 pair of wellies split, and I was fuming! I returned them (they were still under warranty). Bought another pair from the same company after being told it was a one off/bad pair. The same thing happened. So I returned them, and decided I'd buy a cheap pair as I wasn't having any luck with expensive ones.
Then I won a pair of Grubs Frostline boots on Facebook. Just a few days after getting my money back from the company. They are £56 to buy so not cheap, but they are SO comfy and the quality is far superior to the £75 pair. Never been so happy (or surprised!) to win a competition.
There are some things I'd like, like everyone else. I wouldn't buy them, but I'd really like to win one...a new hoover, an Ipad, a new phone and things like that. I don't NEED them, but I'd be really happy to win one.I just enter and forget...hoping to win something!0 -
i do, but so far i haven't won anything off my list... lol i've just given in and bought myself a fitbit so will probably win one now! :rotfl:0

Not usually (I might hold off if a closing date was a couple of days away) but I just stop entering once I have brought it.0

I've been trying to win a Nutribullet for ages with no success. Finally gave in and bought one the other day as I just HAD to have one (it's still in it's box
)....will probably manage to win 2 of them next week now!

Yup me too. Put off buying a laptop and muddling along with a really slow old iPad for ages but it finally got the better of me and so bought a laptop. I did win a £100 love2shop voucher to put towards it so that helped. Comping is so much easier with a laptop that I've finally caught up and been able to post some comps to give back a bit.
I also won a pair of Grubs boots on Twitter recently. I'm a dog walker and pet sitter and have been putting up with some old leaky walking boots and really uncomfortable cheap wellies for nearly two years. I'm not very good at deciding what to buy! I drive my partner mad with my indecisiveness. So these Grub boots were a fab win. No decision making required and they are great, really comfy for the long walks I do in the lovely Welsh (if muddy and wet) countryside.
p.s. would love one of those light weight new vacuums that charge on the wall and definitely not forking out for one. Also, a mixer and/or food processor that again I can't justify buying so fingers crossed for that. And for everyone and their wishlistsBest wins; GoPro, £2K, Brittany week, festival tix twice, Bath break, Sweden spa break, iPhone x2, £250 Amazon x2, tech bundle, 55" TV, Haven break, £1K, Smeg mixer, 3 night spa break, Greenhouse, posh tent, house plants, 2 pairs boots, posh mattress, year tailored supps, £250 lingerie, £150 buyagift, £250 hotel0 -
I can only but enter the competitions for things I would like to win, a girl can dream...
Wedding
I am slowly getting my wedding together if I see anything I can use for free or cheap, near by or online, but I also enter the competitions in hope I may be able to get some things for it!
iPad Mini
I would love to win an iPad mini, I can't justify buying one at the moment, so I do try to enter to win one, as it isn't an essential, but I would love one.
Phone
I have a perfectly good working phone, but I would love the latest iPhone, if I were to win one I wouldn't turn it down.
Car
We currently share a car, but I would love my own car and it would enable use to move to a cheaper area if we both had transport.
Laptop
My laptop is getting old, bless it! I could do with a new one, but I do technically have a working one at the moment (touch wood) so I can't complain, but wouldn't grumble if I were to win one.
I don't need holidays or spa breaks but I wouldn't turn down a prize abovehaha! Cash is always a welcomed win, although I love the feeling of winning anything.
Thank you to everyone who posts competitions and good luck to everyone who enters.0
