33T Tax Code After Good year

After having had a pretty good year I managed to earn more than £100k in income meaning I lost the tax free allowance mostly. The HMRC have written to me giving me a new Tax Code for 2016/2017 of 33T.
Since then I've now taken on a full time role with a much lower salary (but ownership and equity benefits), meaning that I certainly won't be bringing in more than £100K income this year.
Is there anything I can do about losing the Tax free allowance now that I'm taking a lower salary or do I just need to pay it until after my next tax return shows the reduced income?

Yes - ring HMRC and state exactly what you have just written - HMRC will amend it with the knowledge that your tax return will ultimately correct any discrepancies.0

Thanks, I'll give them a call.0

I had the same - a couple of minutes over the 'phone sorted it all out.0
