Oyster price to Gatwick

As there is no daily capping applied to Gatwick, you should do better buying an advance ticket rather than using Oyster or contactless debit card on the day.
That's wrong, there is daily capping applied to journeys to and from Gatwick, so long as you are travelling on Southern or Thameslink trains - however capping does not apply to journeys on Gatwick Express trains.

In general yes, except for the GX branded trains which arrive in a platform other than Platforms 13/14. Which, most days, is a minority admittedly.The_Groat_Counter wrote: »0
