Playa Blanca- Lanzarote. Show bars?

Hi guys were are due to go away for 10 days to Playa Blanca, we normally go to Playa Del Ingles in Gran Canaria and love the show bars there that do drag shows etc and wondering if there was any. Are like these currently in Playa Blanca?

Thanks

Playa Blanca is somewhat different to Plada Del Ingles,a lot of bars and restaurants and very nice but not tacky like Gran Canaria

As above, I suspect you've chosen the wrong resort if you like that sort of evening entertainment.
On the plus side there are loads of very nice restaurants to choose from.
Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

Not all Gran Canaria is tacky, much of it is very nice, they do posh too.

Only Meloneras,Amadores and Mogan the rest is very very tacky been going for twenty plus years and seen no investment so moved on.
I had a mail the other month advising Puerto Rico as a new Major and massive investment is being made available shortly

This might be right up your street. I've not been but the rep from MHT came to my Thomas Cook welcome meeting and it did seem like a good night out

That would be a bit of a walk out from Playa Blanca and one hell of a stagger back again

Sorry we do actually want price and quite, but we don't have any issues with a show bar as find them quite funny and entertaining, maybe tagly to yourself and you maybe be against gay people but we accept gay people and like the drag acts, we go Playa Fel Ingles as we like the island and it's great location for everything, the beach is great too, we have money to chose somewhere is bit enjoy it there too much, we don't find it tacky or we would spend all our money law where, like we are when going Playa Blanca, if we wanted party party all the time we would have choosen Puryo Del Carmen.

Bit of a bizarre response :undecided

What on earth has sexuality got to do with any of the responses posted?

Hey, I lived in PB for 2 years!
Sadly there are no show bars!
Occasionally "The Harp" (In the Papagayo Centre) has live music however this tends to be traditional irish music.

If your looking for more entertaining shows the best thing i'd recommend is Music Hall Tavern - Its in Puerto Del Carmen - Its a drag show but not a tacky one (Book through your Rep or directly with them as the price is the same)

Alternativly Rancho Texas in the evening do a country and western show which is pretty good in the summer months (Not so much in the winter because it needs a crowd to create an atmosphere - also it relies alot on crowd participation) But definatly recommended.

Any other questions about PB or Lanzarote in general - Let me know.

Puerto de la Nieves is not tacky, far from it - truly stunning out of season.
