UK Domestic bank transfer using Amex

Hello,

I have an Amex cashback credit card and would like to pay for part of my wedding using it, but they don't accept Amex. They do accept bank transfer, so I was wondering if anyone knew of a method to pay a bank transfer by Amex? (something like Transferwise but they won't accept Amex).

Thanks

Paypal reportedly, but this will cost you more than the cashback you earn.
    Amex avios & PayPal

In a word, no. You can't get cashback if the supplier doesn't take Amex.

And be careful with bank transfers as you leave yourself without any protection. Reputable companies take card payments.

Curve card basically converts your Amex to a MasterCard.
Do they take MasterCard but not Amex?

Using Paypal or another intermediary (possibly Curve? I don't really know anything about it) can also break the payment chain and prevent you from having the usual credit card payment protection.

Do they accept other non-Amex credit cards?

Thank you for the replies. Yes they do accept non-Amex cards but I'd like to use Amex to take advantage of the cashback. I'll take a look at the links posted, thank you!

The curve card (potentially) removes the powerful S75 protection but you have access to MasterCard including chargeback for extreme circumstances - similar to a debit card transaction.
