Hi
Hoping to get some advise
The house I am looking ti buy was brought from the council by current owners
5 yrs after buying the house they bought an additional piece of land from the council and made this into a drive
Both the house purchase and extra land are listed on the register title page along with date etc so proof that this belongs ti house
What I am concerned and worried about is the street plan dates back pre the land being bought so the map does nit show the extra piece of land in the outline
As the purchase is written in thd register title but nit shown clearly om map would this proove a problem when selling

No, as long as the ownership boundaries are correct the fact that the underlying OS map is out of date is irrelevant.

By boundaries do you mean the fences?
There are fences cleary defining the drive whuch run both sides of house and drive leading to road/pavement

No, I meant the boundaries on the title plan showing what you own - outlined in red (or similar), yes?

What does your solicitor say about it?
Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.
