I got this card before i went to Orlando, loaded £1000 from my savings on to the account
1) We eat at the Outback Restaurant, 2 different amounts were taken off my balance, one had a tip one didnt, had to wait 10 working days to be reimbursed
2) Bought something from the Lacoste outlet, had the exact amount taken off 2, now been 10 working days, as the trasactions have been completed i am supposed to contact Lacoste in orlando, fill out a form and this takes 45 days, this is my money, they are keeping. the help or severe lack of it from Revolut is a disgrace, all by an app support, these people do not know what they are doing, the helpine cuts you off and says no one is available
3) when back in th uk, i went to Frankies and bennys, the amount came off straight away, but the card was declined!!! now have to wait for this as well
I was mis sold on this card, it is not fit for purpose.

And MSE have this wording added to the article a month ago:Several users have reported issues with Revolut cards not working abroad and difficulties getting issues resolved with Revolut customer service. While this is still our top pick, take back-up specialist plastic with you just in case. Let us know how you get on in the forum.0 -

Revolut is ok. Not had these problems listed but they don't work in foreign petrol stations.
Went USA, great for tickets etc. But it kept getting declined in gas stations.
Spoke to them on live chat, they stated that "we (they) don't support petrol stations due to the high risk". Kind of annoying.
For online pre-booking of tickets though it was ok though.
How exactly were you mis-sold? The card is free. Yes, you have to wait a while for holds to drop off, but it's the same with all cards. If it's rejected, always have a backup card or, preferably, cash.
I also wouldn't put the whole £1,000 on it (unless the rate was good) as it has no FSCS protection.0 -

Why not keep it ?
Put a small amount on it.
I've used mine before, no issues.
I'd prefer to load it with a small amount and not have to rely on it, have it as a backup say and have 0% card as first to use.0 -

Most UK cards won't work at US pay at pump systems anyway as they ask for a ZIP code. Amex cards (issued directly by Amex) are one of the few cards that have a workaround that works at US pumps.0 -

Duplicated transactions can happen with any card, most likely caused by the merchant's actions.
Using Revolut's new security features probably make the cord much more immune to fraud than other cards during and after exposure to possible risks overseas:
