Hi,
When using the online calculators to working out if we are entitled to benefits - which salary do I enter if I am a part of a salary sacrifice scheme? The salary before? Or after?
My P60 gives me the salary after the sacrifice - use this number?

Salary Sacrifice isn't an allowable expense when calculating wages for Housing benefit purposes. Only tax, ni contributions and 50% of any pension contributions the rest is treated as income. These are my own views and you should seek advice from your local Benefits Department or CAB.0
