Balance transfer period on 0% cards

A lot of cards seem to have a 60 day introductory period for balance transfers. Without checking all lenders T+C, is it normal practice to limit the amount of transfers in that period, or can you generally do as many as you like within your credit limit?

You can carry out as many as you need to during the promo period, subject to credit limits.0
