I'm meeting with the boss at the leisure centre tonight to talk about the bar job. A lot of people are leaving for uni so i think it's a dead cert really!

I think if i get enough hours I want to pull in an extra £150 per month I might save this up and however long the job lasts i'll give a lump some to payplan (saying i've had a bit of a windfall maybe?!). I don't see any point in changing my budget around incase the job doesn't last all that long.

    Does this sound ok?
    In debt no more!
  • Hi, well that sounds eerily like my goal too. I owe £6736 on credit card and 7464 on loan.
    Total:14200 (and overdraft of £1500)
Down from highest it was at LBM in May owing £19378
All being a student did for me was teach me how to spend money I didn't have on things I didn't need.

Am 26 now and aiming to be debt free by the time I'm 30 and I should be able to achieve it hopefully with support on here. I passed my PGCE PCET in July this year and can now teach in FE so may be able to answer PGCE style questions or bluff my way through them.

Best of luck with your goals and keep us all posted! You can do it!
