Do I need to pay my Council Tax if I am awaiting the outcome of a claim?

Just wondering, I have put in a claim to see if we are eligible for any assistance with our CT. Will I still be liable to pay normal amount monthly until a decision has come through?

Yes. They'll just reduce your payments if you are awarded the assistance.0

Yes, any award will be backdated to when you first made contact with the authority, requesting help with Council Tax Support.Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.0
