You can buy exactly what you're after from ebay. They aren't very powerful but are designed to operate small fishpond waterfalls.

So I just buy a solar panel and connect the wires from the submersible pump to the panels and it should work?
Is there anything I need to buy and connect?
Also for a 12V DC submersible pump is there any specifications for solar panel?0 -
I bought 1 from eBay a few weeks ago, not dear. You get everything you need, solar panel, pump and wires. Mine cost less then £15.
