    Sneaks back in...
    I am still around.
I've shuffled all the money and rejigged the spreadsheets so I am still on track. I will need to update my sig tomorrow but my OP for March is over £600 so I am happy with that.

No major changes of approach at this stage. On a positive note ERNIE decided he liked me this month so an extra £25 to be shared between the pots. I am back to my 3 pots of holiday, mortgage and children / schooling as I used my bonus to fill up the smaller pots.

    Hello all

My work situation became all consuming for a bit but I have carried on with my MFW ways.

I have decided to change jobs as the situation was becoming untenable and luckily they were restructuring so were offering a package.

I am taking a bit of time off then will decide on my next steps.

I will post more later but the well known make of tablet is about to die.

My package will fund a couple of months off which is the first time in more than a decade I will get a big block of time off.

I think I will freelance after that as there are lots of opportunities for contract work. There will be enough left of the package to provide a buffer whilst I establish myself.

Fortunately because I had set everything up in an organised way for my MFW journey I stayed on track with my plans. 3 years ago I set up a plan to pay off the mortgage in just under 11.5 years and it is slightly ahead of schedule at the moment.

I set up a plan a couple of years ago to pay off the mortgage early. At this stage I need to reduce the mortgage by an average of £1300 pm and I am currently a bit ahead of plan.

I make a standard op every month of £235 and my mortgage payment is £1389.

This is where it starts to get interesting (to an MFW anyway:o)
    Daily interest £10.59
30 day month so June interest £317.70
OP and and mortgage payment £1624
    Payments less interest £1306.30

So 30 day months now automatically exceed the plan :T
31 day months will become automatic when the mortgage reduces to £213000 (3 -4 months time)
    MortgageStart Nov 2012 £310,000
