Depending upon user wanting to actually wear them or they have a fetish, Ie: wearing them sell at a rate that your happy with but if it is a fetish then offer to wear them for a week without socks and take pictures to sell them on, Bet you'd get a decent amount offered then lol.

If you're getting a decent amount then just go for it. It's not really hurting anyone and you can make money from it for something that sounds worthless to most people.

Try and hide your address if you do sell though. Don't want any weird stalkers.

They seemed pleasant enough in the messages, very polite etc. but asked for me to wear them till the auction ends. I thinks it's prob quite harmless, better shoes than sth else and if my worn shoes make someone with a fetish happy and me some money then so be it. See where it goes. Better than more landfill :rotfl:

Will have a look now how to do that. Or any quick tips how to hide the address?

    This is just gross.

I once put some of my daughter's dance tights up for sale and got messages about them not being washed.

    I cancelled the auction.

A couple of weeks ago I had one of my pre teen daughters nighties listed and had a message would I include a pair of well worn socks. Couldn't get them on to my blocked bidders list quick enough. Made me quite uncomfortable and wondering if this was the reason why used kids nighties seem to sell quite well? Not a nice thought.

Totally agree, if it included kids stuff it's out of order.

In those two cases I'd have been of a mind to indulge them up to the point of sale, refund their payment and then pass their details (along with the eBay messages) to whatever the relevant authority is, presumably the police.

While what they are doing in just buying isn't likely a crime they could be breaching certain conditions if they are already known to the authorities.

That said, I'm an infrequent seller and can easily afford to do without my eBay account being in top condition, and chances are the potential buyers are just a bit disturbed rather than actual criminals.

Getting a bit grossed out now. Had two replies to my shoe ad (the ones I wore last night and put onto ebay for a joke) too ask what the condition was. Not sure wether just to go for it if it makes me money or if it is just weird or me taking the mick out of people. What do you think?
Maybe you need to,ask yourself, if you had grown up kids, would you suggest to,them this was a safe reliable way to make money..
