If you're getting a decent amount then just go for it. It's not really hurting anyone and you can make money from it for something that sounds worthless to most people.

They seemed pleasant enough in the messages, very polite etc. but asked for me to wear them till the auction ends. I thinks it's prob quite harmless, better shoes than sth else and if my worn shoes make someone with a fetish happy and me some money then so be it. See where it goes. I once put some of my daughter's dance tights up for sale and got messages about them not being washed.

A couple of weeks ago I had one of my pre teen daughters nighties listed and had a message would I include a pair of well worn socks. Couldn't get them on to my blocked bidders list quick enough. Made me quite uncomfortable and wondering if this was the reason why used kids nighties seem to sell quite well? Not a nice thought.0 -

While what they are doing in just buying isn't likely a crime they could be breaching certain conditions if they are already known to the authorities.
That said, I'm an infrequent seller and can easily afford to do without my eBay account being in top condition, and chances are the potential buyers are just a bit disturbed rather than actual criminals.0 -
