Withraw benefit claim

Im due for a Universe Credit claim interview tomorrow. However I want to cancel it. How do I do this without actually having to speak to anyone? Email or text etc. I dont want to just not turn up, but I also cant handle scrutinizing jobsworths. I got enough savings to get by for a while longer (which I feel will be an issue anyway), plus I got a 2 week training course coming up where I wont be able to look for work during that time anyway.
There will inevitably be some awkward questions regarding these and I just dont want to get into smelly brown stuff over this. I think maybe its best to use up my savings until I have no backup. I was also hoping to get my FLT license renewed on UC but I think I will leave that for now.
Sometimes my advice may not be great, but I'm not perfect and I do try my best. Please take this into account.

    Does this help?

Looks like you can only do it by phone or in writing. I guess you can just say what you have said in your post - that you are going to live on savings and you don't need UC at the moment. Not sure how much digging they will actually do

But don't u have to declare savings when u do online application

Also dosent this take seven weeks to process,so can u survive without money for two months

I know the savings is 6,000 to 16000 with £4.35, Took off u for every £250 over £6000

Well not turning up will just mean they will cancel the application for UC, Since you have no active claim they can't sanction you for anything. So if you don't want to talk or text then not turning up is the best option. You could call UC or JSA and tell them to close the application which would take about 10 mins...

A quick call simply to say you don't want to continue your claim to UC would avoid wasting other people's time.

Even when your savings have depleted and you have to finally claim Universal Credit, you will still have to supply bank statements to demonstrate your capital level. It may be better to complete your application now and have an earlier date of claim.
