Internal USA flights - cabin baggage

DUB-LHR-YVR
a few days in YVR, then
YVR-LAX
a few days in California, then
SAN-LAX-LHR-MAN

all on the sdame booking/flight ref/ticket.

As far as I could tell, the baggage goes free from DUB-YVR and free from SAN-MAN, but on the additional leg, YVR-LAX because it was a seperate trip more than 24 hous after the original leg, the baggage would need to be paid for.

They missed out that the connection needs to be within 24hrs (or possibly same day). The systems do sometimes glitch so maybe you'll be lucky! (On my two BA redemptions last year with Alaska, the first randomly decided to only charge half the price and the second decided it's free)
