Hi all,

How can I check how many owners my car had previously? For free ideally?

Is there a website or a source from where I can find out? :)

    Yep, it'll be stated on the V5 - date of first registration and number of previous owners, amongst other things.

    HPI check will tell you as well, for a few quid.

    I don't think the owner of the car is registered anywhere or even the number of owners.

    However you can find out the number of keepers the car has previously had on the front page of your V5C. This is found next to the address of the previous keeper, in square brackets [ ], and it says No. of keepers beside it.

    And if you want to pay a fiver you can find out who they were as well if you request to DVLA.
    Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.
