can you even determine the VAT rate on sanitary products?
A quick antrobus shows it to be 5% or about 10-15p a month.
I think a more pertinent question is why you can't determine it given that you are clearly able to use a computer at a rudimentary level at least.0 -
they will all be decided for them in europe even on vital issues like the VAT rate on sanitary products.
The fact that Brexiters are deluded enough to see VAT on sanitary products as a vital issue is in itself enough reason to not want to be associated with them.Having a signature removed for mentioning the removal of a previous signature. Blackwhite bellyfeel double plus good...0 -

you miss the point as it doesn't conform to your 'EU is perfect' mantra.
The point is the the UK government, under great pressure from normal decent voters (and some others) wished to reduce the tampon tax to ZERO
However under EU rules, the UK can't do that although the matter is now being fudged because of the referendum
if you knew how to use the internet you could have found out all about it
http://www.bbc.co.uk/newsbeat/article/31299254/why-the-tampon-tax-is-here-to-stay---for-a-while-at-least
In the same way the EU has recently INSTRUCTED the UK to raise the VAT on thermal insulation products

Who determines VAT (GST) rates in Aus
is it - Aus
or a cabal of your trading partners?0 -

No, it EXACTLY the opposite
it is because it is so trivial it illustrates how little power the UK government has in relation to the cabal in the EU.0 -
Does anyone know when the Government flyer on the eu is being sent out?
I'm in Wales and don't know anyone who has received it yet0
