The Insurance Factory

My renewal quote from my current (Allianz) insurer came really high. More than what I am paying. (£600 difference).
I went on comparison websites and the cheapest quote came as £490 with all the add-ons/features I currently have.
Which is very good.
However, it is from insurance factory and then under the price it says insurer "Zenith".
Now I have never heard either of them.
Are they any good ? reliable ?
I have 11 years of NCB. With no claims ever made.
Also, Lancashire Insurance came as £300 with all few options.
But never heard of them either.
Any advice please.

Insurance factory are brokers that have been around for quite awhile. Zenith have been around or a very long time. See a few complaints online about Insurance Factory, so do a search.
Lancashire Insurance again are brokers. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0 -
Many thanks.
So in the unfortunate event, I will be contacting the brokers rather than dealing with the insurer ?
Do you recommend Zenith / Insurance Factory ?0 -
Depends on whether they have delegated authority to handle claims. They might deal with your initial inquiry, but you may get passed on to whoever is dealing with the claim. A lot of companies have outsourced claim services.
The problem with companies who appear cheaper, is that if you ever need to make changes to the policy or cancel early, is that their various admin fees are often a lot higher than other companies.
Insurance Factory now appear to be part of Markerstudy group and they are quite big.
Do your research and it is your choice. I have not used the companies mentioned. I used to deal with Zenith years ago and they were OK.The comments I post are personal opinion. Brilliant.
Yeah I am okay with admin fee. As I don't make changes to my policy.
But annual premium is very good.
And if Zenith are well known, I will go for it.
Thanks

Both Zenith and Insurance Factory are part of the Markerstudy GroupAll matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves.0
