Has Anyone Had The Experince Of Viewing The Channel ON FREEVIEW And If You Want To Video Ok If You Press The Record Button. I Am Having A Problem If You Want To Set Up Times When To Switch On On The Video And Already Selected Channels From The Guide. What Appears To Happen Is The Non Freeview Are Recorded.
Any Thoughts.

Two:
It depends on your setup, if you're talking about recording onto VHS then it must record through the AV channel as it doesn't have it's own digital tuner and then the freeview box can't be changed to a different channel while recording. Even then this all does depend on the specifics of you equipment. We have both a panasonic tv and panasonic VHS recorder and so can use their q-link system for the tv to directly control the recorder.
Second thought is that you seem to have a problem with your "shift key" that needs sorting. It seems to be activating at the start of every word!!!"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Not clear on what you're trying to do but usually the VCR needs to be on the AV channel to "see" the output of your Freeview box.0

It was not the shift key but i entered it all in upper case.
The affending videos are toshiba v729 b
and sony slv e720.0 -

As reemphasised by Cledor, you need to record the AV channel that the freeview box is on. Selecting 1, 2, 3 etc will only select the VCR's own tuner channels which are all analogue."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I have tried both L1 and SAT to set the times but not the correct viewing
Many thanks again0 -
Is the Freeview box connected to the video via a scart lead or RF cable? Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

i have one scart to the tv and another one to the vhs as per manufacture states. the aerial lead is link to the vhs then to the freeview box then to the tv. i have tried in via the box then via vhs then tv.

You need to experiment with the connections, try watching the Freeview output through the VCR using the aerial feed between the TV and the VCR (i.e. temporarily disconnect the scart lead between TV-Freeview box)0
