ISPA statement on appointment of Wright Hassall
http://ispa.co.uk/userfiles/files/ISPA%20Statement%20regarding%20the%20appointment%20of%20Wright%20Hassall.pdf
Under no circumstances can Wright Hassall be seen as so called independent adjudicators ??
LEFT HAND OF WRIGHT HASSALL = POPLA for stayed cases
RIGHT HAND OF WRIGHT HASSALL = Taking motorists to court and Profiteering from a scam
"Profiteering is a pejorative term for the act of making a profit by methods considered unethical."
QUOTE FROM ISPA
"Nevertheless, the ISPA Board remain concerned about the potential for the public to perceive bias in this process given the work conducted by Wright Hassall Solicitors in their wider business."
They should be concerned, very concerned about the BPA taking on Wright Hassall ?
The BPA has already lost all credibility and now with the appointment of Wright Hassall, they can no longer be considered as a trustworthy organisation.
Let us hope that the ISPA does not follow in their footsteps

passing the buck to the Solicitors Regulatory Authority , but WILL they do anything about boptched appeals , or refer you back to the ISPA
"recently come to our attention" what a joke , they were involved in their hiring back in February http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk/2016/02/british-parking-association-appoint.html
as per WH being a suitable company to act as adjudicators , this is their portfolio https://www.wrighthassall.co.uk/expertise/mediation-arbitration/Save a Rachael

In any tendering process potential 'conflict of interest' should be vigorously tested and, given the public sensitivities about private parking, any self respecting procurement process would avoid contracting with an organisation with such significant skeletons in their cupboard. It would surely have to be an 'avoid at all costs' scenario.
So, given the contracting of WH by the BPA, one could draw a number of possible conclusions:
1. There were no other bidders;
2. There were other bidders, but their bids were so pitifully poor that the WH bid, even with all its negatives, just managed to crawl across the finish line; or
3. The BPA wanted a tame lapdog to provide its members with the kind of 2nd tier appeals service they have craved (and perhaps have demanded).
I share dazster's analysis that Nicola Mullaney is far from convinced that the motorist will get a fair deal at WHOPLA!Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

and what will be the outcome if 3500 people complain to Nicola Mullaney , or the CSA ?
nothing absolutely nothing , the BPA are convinced that WH are an upstanding solicitors and are not involved in debt collection , despite offering debt collecting on their websiteSave a Rachael
