England, I was downsizing as most of the stuff in my one bedroom flat was things I never used. planned to spend a few months here and leave big things at relatives and then see what happens and get a better property.
Should of just stayed where I was, rent wasn't much higher and rates were good.0 -

Didn't you say there was no standing charge?
how do you know you wont get the balance back when the bill comes?
I think you need to simply talk to your landlord about the charges and get them to break it down for you. If it still seems excessive then you will have to go an official route.0
