Hi , I will be selling my home which will be mostly Unoccupied most of the time , so very little electric , gas , water usage , just once a month , when I visit to do some garden work and general tidy up etc.
So can anyone advise on utility companies that will not charge me a standing charge and will only bill me based on usage without crazy over estimation charges ! as it will work out around less than 10-15 a month !

For electricity, get green energy Tap http://www.greenenergyuk.com/ and ask them to fit an AMR (smart meter) so you don't have to keep submitting meter readings. Otherwise, Npower std and ebico EquiPower http://ebico.org.uk
For gas, ebico EquiGas. Thats the complete market.0 -
You'll have to wait till the end of the year for a universal smart meter role out to begin for gas meters reading.0

Standard advice applies.
i.e. Consult a comparison site and find the best deal for you
(don't forget to consider seperate suppliers)
However, if you are adamant you only want tariffs that have no standing charge, then some comparison services (e.g. the MSE CEC) will allow you to filter the results to just show these.
But why would you want to filter out possible cheaper options?
To avoid seriously inaccurate estimated bills/statements, provide the supplier with regular, actual meter readings0
