Continual changes to Flight Times

So the outbound is 1h40min later. Our return flight has also changed from 12 noon to 11.40am.
And the return flight 20 minutes earlier.
Does that make much of a difference to you?
These are relatively small minor changes. Why would you be considering cancelling?0 -
Yeah I see it from that point, but just thinking of the whole AI thing, I've been on a few and just seems the times are way against me for this, as it isn't a normal period of time between the flights.
I guess it's just the weird late times that is making it look a lot worse.
Just it's usually arrive early morning, you leave late on and vice versa, most notably with AI.
I am going to ask though, and most certainly with the return flight, just to ensure, want to make sure that is still valid flight.
If I wasn't on an AI it wouldn't really be an issue, but just because it ain't cheap.

No it doesn't really, but there are possibly downsides to it, that extra 1hr 40mins could let us unpack our cases the night before in addition to grabbing a free quick bite. We relatively might not get in until midnight at best to our actual room, so then we need to unpack the next morning.
Into the bargain if any of the kids are hungry (or us) coming off the plane, we ain't eating till next morning, so possibly our last food will be about 2-3pm the previous day. We can't mess around in the airport prior to it, and Magic Natura ain't round the corner from a late night kebab shop. And into the bargain even if we managed to somehow grab something at the airport (holding up a coach obviously) I'd be out another £20-£30?
Just a bit meh!
But no, it doesn't sound much, but then again.

Get a meal deal each from Boots at Manchester airport and eat on the plane. That's what we do. We get a bottle of water each with that and probably an extra bottle. The meal deal is good value sub £4 each. In the cost of a family holiday it's negligible.
You can also pack some snacks in your hand luggage to keep the kids happy. Cheaper than buying on board the aircraft.
IMHO you are over thinking the whole situation. Relax, go on holiday and have fun!0 -
I also think your overthinking things!
I recently went on holiday where i didnt arrive at the hotel until 5:30am. Was i annoyed? nope i was just grateful to be able to check straight in & get my head down for a couple of hours ready to start my holiday

There is no need for anybody to be hungry. That's what sandwiches and the like were invented for. Make them yourself or buy them.
That's what we do in these situations.0 -

Though sandwiches were actually invented to ensure there was no break in gambling, not something for the kids in that maybe.0 -
Yes, I am afraid you'll have to do what most of us with kids do when you don't know when food will be available.., take snacks/pasta salads or whatever they will eat. Make it a 'picnic on the plane' and they'll love it! Or tell them its a midnight feast.., whatever makes it fun.0
