Stayed at this hotel last year and overall had a good time.
Hotel is situated on a headland and I think it took us about 30 minutes to walk to/from the town, but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel.
We had a seaview room and the views were lovely.
The hotel was dated but it was clean and the meals in the restaurant were very good (waiter service).
It did cater mainly for older people and was used by coach parties on an all inclusive basis.

We visited The Eden Project and Heligan Gardens, both of which we enjoyed.

We didn't use the swimming pool or the other facilites, the pool wasn't very big and was nothing flash from what I can remember. However the weather was lovely when we went (last September/October) so we enjoyed ourselves being out on the beaches and headland that surrounds this hotel. We are walkers and the walks around the hotel over the cliff paths and down to the beaches were lovely.

    I hope you enjoy yourselves.
