IVA - the end is in sight :D
Options
Evening everyone,
I just thought I'd pop back and say hi! I have 3 months left of my IVA and I can't tell you how happy I am! I survived and it wasn't actually as bad as I first thought.
To begin with it was hard learning how to survive without credit, declining invitations and when my car broke down! But you soon learn how to budget properly and even save money!
It's completely changed how I think about money! I quite often will buy something for myself then feel really guilty and ask myself if I really need it then take it back, whereas before I'd have put it on the credit card and not given it a second thought cos it's not real money
I just wanted to offer hope and support to those who are just starting the journey! I can honestly say the day I came to terms with the fact an iva was my only option was the worst day of my life, but it got much much better
I've just checked my credit rating and as expected it's pretty dire so I still have the job of building it back up but I can honestly say I will never get myself into that situation ever again! Lesson most definitely learned!
So here's to a happy debt free future
If you have any questions at all please ask as I'd like to give back as people on here were so kind and helpful to me, Lisa x

Well done Lisa, I'm a bit behind you in that my last payment is in August. I can't wait for the last payment, I'm sure it will be a great feeling!0
