Halifax - Lloyds Payments

I note that transactions between Halifax and Lloyds bank accounts are marked as being instant, rather than, IIRC, the previous "up to two hours"

Has anyone found out if that means such payments are no longer treated as satisfying the funding requirements for interest-bearing accounts?

It depends on what the funding requirements are.

If they state pay £1500/£750 per month into account that's all you have to do from anywhere - if they say internal transfers are not acceptable then it has to come from another bank.

Even though Lloyds and Halifax are part of the same group - they are trading as seperate banks - each having its own banking licence.

IMO to answer your question you can transfer Lloyds- Halifax - Lloyds to satisfy funding requirements.
