Where to put my money

I have recently sold my house that I shared with my ex and have moved back in with my parents. I am just wondering where people think the best place is to put my money until I buy a house again which will probably be in a year or 2. I would like to be able to access my money if I do decide to buy somewhere within the year.
I have recently opened the Halifax account which gives you £5 a month, so I am not really looking to change current accounts again.
Thank you in advance

How much is involved?
Do you have another current account, apart from Halifax?
How much effort are you prepared to put in? The best paying accounts at the moment are current accounts and regular savers. Bog standard savings accounts pay much lower interest.0
