I have a finance agreement through a company called creation which I want to pay off using a credit card, would this be classed as a balance transfer? or a purchase?
Sorry if this seems a stupid question but I know nothing about credit cards.
Thanks in advance.

You probably can't pay them directly. You need to check. If they do, check if it is classed as cash or a purchase.
You will probably need to get a money transfer card option.0 -
Hey Megan,
This was be classified as a purchase and you may be charged an additional fee for using a credit card rather than debit to make the payment.
I recommend checking out terms of payment in your contract or the website to check.0 -
I know that you can (or rather could; it was a few years back) use a credit card to pay a Creation issued storecard which is classed a purchase and attracts no additional charge. I did this more than once; if done correctly this can double the interest free period on the original purchase without using any bt or 0% offers.
I have no idea if it can be done in respect of a Creation loan.
I don't believe that you can do a balance transfer to a loan account.0
