NPower - Should I Expect The Worst

Moved out of my previous flat exactly one month ago, called up & gave final meter readings.

Today I received an e-mail telling me my final bill has been delayed & to please bear with them. Having read many of the horror stories on this forum & a few others am I in for a world of hassle & calls to incompetent customer service in order to get something so simple resolved?

Lap of the Gods I'm afraid, but just in case keep the record of your closing meter reading safely filed away together with all earlier billing if you still have it, for SIX years.

Even when you do get that Final Bill don't regard the matter as settled, the word 'Final' doesn't mean the same to n'power as everyone else.

You can always check that the final payment (based on your actual readings)agrees with what you owe/are owed since the last readings billed.
