Hi All
I'm looking to buy a flat that had conditional planning to be turned into said flat back in 1975. We don't know what the conditions were. After all this time it shouldnt be an issue though right?\

It would be unenforceable after this point in time - no point even worrying about indemnity insurance. However, it may be worth checking whether the sellers have a letter from the council that states that given the time that has elapsed it is considered a lawful use of the property (i.e. the works have been declared and the council accepts no enforcement action can be taken).0

Virtually all planning permissions have conditions attached so this is not unusualIf you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
