4* lowest winning bid tend to be about $75 (then there's the priceline fee + tax)

I wouldn't use priceline in Vegas as many bargains can be found depending on the time you visit (Thread on Vegas)

Similarly priceline is not a very good bet at the Grand Canyon as the accomodation that uses priceline is scarce I beleive.

Eek! This bidding lark is a bit too complicated for me, I'll keep reading it though in case I can pluck up courage- it's obviously the cheaper option . Thanks again.
