New UPVC windows - sealant missing?

Hey all. Hope you're all doing well.
I had some new UPVC windows put in about a week ago for our bay windows (5 frames for each bay) but I have noticed that there tends to be a lot of condensation build up around the bottom edge of the windows in the bedroom, as the plastic units between the frames.
I had a look outside and there is a good 5-7mm gap between the window frame and the sill. Is this usual practice? I thought they would have sealed that up with some frame sealant?

Thanks for your help guys.

You don't seal on the outside face of the window between cill and window. Drainage channels are there
We would apply a bead of the silicone at the back edge of the cill before self tappers are used to fix the cill to the window unitHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0
