Yes different times now. Hope he had a brilliant birthday. He's overcome so many hurdles. My Brother too has had 3 pneumonias, the last one was 5 years ago, his SATS were 63% and he was put into an induced coma (the other two were when he was very young). Thank you again for sharing your story

  • Thanks again for the lovely posts. My son is now in bed, asleep, after spending a very happy day. He still enjoys a bedtime story, even though he can read himself, so tonight he has had 'Finding Nemo' and 'The Magic Balloon' - both new books, although he has the Nemo film.

He is back at college tomorrow after a fortnight off, so he has his clothes ready, including his new Star Wars T-shirt. They're folded neatly, on Mickey Mouse's knee :D

As for me, I'm off to bed soon myself - it's been a busy weekend and I'm shattered :o

Happy Birthday to your son! I bet the staff at Alder Hey would love a copy of your post.

Happy belated Birthday to your son, lovely story.
Its not that we have more patience as we grow older, its just that we're too tired to care about all the pointless drama ;)
