Hi All, this morning my electricity meter caught fire, a guy from Northern Power Grid came to disconnect the supply to make it safe. He told me I had to call my supplier to have a new meter installed. Unfortunately even after at least 30 further phone calls to various electricity distributors, I was told that there is no emergency service from Scottish Power from 6 pm on Saturday to 8 am on Monday, this has left me with no electricity supply until whenever I can actually get through to speak to someone tomorrow morning. Has anyone else experienced problems with Scottish Power and do any of you know a supplier who provides 24 hour emergency service? Many thanks for reading.
