How many credit cards is too much?
Comments

But it still does not explain why the same person and credit history
- Some with 95% probability
- Some with 50% and
- Some with 0%
How does it work...
For the cards themselves then they may well be looking for a mix of cardholders, of variable risk level and therefore a range of potential defaults and returns. The analogy would be with taking out insurance, or even investments, you want some low risk stuff which you accept will get lower returns, and some higher risk stuff which will earn you more but you'll lose some of the capital or pay out on insurance for example.0 -
Usually you can have about 50% of your annual salary. You have spent £13.5k and earn £30k so approaching this threshold. Id guess this is the issue, not the number of credit cards.0

Nothing are too many as long as
- you could still take the benefit of it
- You could still get it. Keep in mind this normally depends on your salary with regards to the total current limit of credit card you have got0
