The currently paying figure is actually correct for my real annual usage, (In the example I posted)
What I was showing was that even CEC will show you the OFGEM calculated values going forward as a personal projection, although I know you can get CEC to show the annual cost based on only your current tariffs.
I was offering the OP a possible reason why the costs were higher than expected, i.e. following OFGEM rules leads to inflated annual/monthly cost in the circumstances shown.0 -
This fantasy cost blanket created by Ofgem, covers more than the Switch sites.
When I visit EDF's website to check my billing and tariff options, it tells me that I can "Save" £20.61 a year by immediately Switching to their current 'Blue Price APRIL 2017' tariff.
As I'm on the now withdrawn 'NOVEMBER 2016' tariff, the move would actually cost me money for the next 8 months - Woe betide any customer who believes what it says on the tin.0
