in House buying, renting & selling
Can we have some advice please. We will be moving soon so need to let our landlord know. Is there a set letter? Also can we do it at any time as long as we give at least 4 weeks notice? Can we only leave on the day rent would be due or can we do say two out of the four weeks as long as it is at least 4 weeks altogether? Sorry about all the questions. We have been here a long time so not done this before.

    What does your contract/tenancy agreement say as regards giving notice?

    We think it said two months notice but it had little detail on anything and much that isn't legal. We haven't seen in for a while as we have been here for years and never had it updated.
