No - Time and time again, we have helped BB holders who have not had their tickets cancelled.
You are one of the relative few who have, so good but in our eyes its more that you are the exception that proves the rule!
Have you even read the posting guide you confirmed you had read and understood? Or even the very top of the page:
You are in absolutely no position to exercise control over who post what on your threads, and if someone disagrees to with you - just get used to it!
OK, you want this?
I have showed how to get a ticket cancelled in exactly my circumstances. I cannot help with other circumstances because I was not !!!!ing there. I think this is clear because I named both the parking company and the site. Reading is a really useful skill, you should try it some day.
I have read the posting guide, please show the relevant points that prove your relevant points, I don't see what you are getting at, to be honest.
I ma not mother!!!!ing trying to mother!!!!ing control which !!!!s can post to this thread, I am asking people who have shown they bring nothing to refrain from essentially spamming with spam what would be a useful thread to those in a similar position to me.
I am trying to help here and you (plural) are pooping all over this because you want you prove some crappy point that the "charge" is not a "charge" (wait until it gets to court and see what it is deemed to be) or that my spell-checker changed the words but not the overall meaning so I feel 100% justified in asking (not telling, nor demanding) that those of you who are just de-railing this thread to prove some schoolboy point please refrain from spamming and move on.
Is that really too difficult?0 -

Imma not trying to exercise control, I'm asking those of you who are adding nothing to please go add nothing elsewhere.

Calm down a bit dear - you may find the Equality Act a good bit of gentle and soothing reading.0

I am pleased that the Muppets at Parking Eye saw sense over your situation LM9, but unfortunately they are not known for their sympathy, or being so reasonable in the majority of cases.
This forum is littered with many cases where PE have just dug their heals in and rejected appeals like yours hands down, even in hospital car parks.
I think the posters that you are in conflict with on here are trying to point out that you have to be very careful how you appeal with these nasty companies as it can quite easily go the other way.
A less carefully worded appeal by a more naive driver might just land them in dire trouble.
Your well intentioned post might encourage someone to jump the gun without getting their wording vetted by the experienced members on here.
But I am pleased that you got this cancelled by these awful scammers!0 -
Before this descends into arguments and insults....
This forum sees countless people posting with problems and issues, most of which are very similar, but all of which require looking at as the finer details will be different, and those responding only have so much spare time to dedicate and give up their own time freely in order to prevent other people being scared/intimidated and bullied into paying and fueling the PPC industry.
Replies may, at times be a little blunt, abrupt or even appear to be rude and impersonal, but the aim of the game is to save people money, save them from the worry panic and fear that the PPC world tries to instill into its victims- and hopefully at the end of things people will come out better informed, and empowered with enough knowledge to help other people when they fall victim to the PPCsFrom the Plain Language Commission:

I read your opening post and we'll done for getting your ticket cancelled.
From your previous posts, I see that in September 2014 you received a fair amount of help on here on another ticket, including a contribution from redx who you thanked.
Now I don't quite agree with him on the fact that BBs are not valid on private property. I know what he means and what the handbook says, but if a private property owner chooses to nominate a BB as a means of identification, then it does become valid.
The problem you will have, however, is in the way you have responded to redx and other regulars. Those of us who read this forum regularly - perhaps too much even - tend to know who are the frequent helpful contributors and telling them to keep off your threads is likely to alienate the people who in future are best placed to help you should you feel the need.0 -

Short memory, short fuse, short on help next time, perhaps!
Odd that you weren't slagging off those same people you now gratuitously describe as:frothing at the mouth anti-parking control nutjob.
when they were going out of their way, spending their own time helping you, a complete stranger, free of charge, with your problem!

How easy it is to forget
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
