If you do how is the TP-Link going to connect to the BB service? Assuming the Superhub is in modem mode?0

Remove which cable ?
Keep the cable coming into the property connected to the superhuman and have an ethernet cable connecting the ST to the TP link.0 -
Is the TP-link your only router? In which case did you put the Superhub into Modem Only mode?

My experience with the latest Superhub is that it's pretty solid and reliable.
I've not had any problems and the wireless speeds are excellent, unlike the older one.
It may be worth a call to get a new router from them.
In the meantime, as above. You need to keep the two connected and the Superhub acts just as a modem and not a router. As said above you must set the SH to Modem only mode first.Drinking Rum before 10am makes you

initial statement: "have connected my virgin superhub 2 & a tp link router for using wifi as virgin was disconnecting all the time "
after connecting a TP to the output from the superhub we get "now today it is disconnecting from superhub again so no internet connection "
is the TP breaking contact with the SH OR is it your virgin connection that is faulty?
1: did you have a steady internet connection on your DH when using an Ethernet cable , or was this also dropping ?Save a Rachael

Superhub is terrible for auto choosing the same wireless channel as your neighbours, also if your neighbours are some of those idiots that turn the router off when not using the internet, then they'll be hopping about all over the place on different channels every day.
With multiple stupid neighbours I gave up and ran cat5 through my house, under the carpets and up the walls, I wouldn't go back to relying on WiFi.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

the internet to your house or your virgin router are faulty , adding a second device will not repair the connection.

^^ Check with neighbours, see if any of them have same issue.
Reason im not with virgin is because when you phone them with an issue, they run through a series of questions tests and then tell you to reinstall Windows, then refuse to help until you do.
I stood and argued with them once, told them I had the same issue on 4 different devices and that the neighbours did too, they still insisted on going through the stupid fault finding list.
Got off the phone and about 4 hours later the same young lady phoned me and apologised, saying it was in fact a local fault, at which point I told her in no uncertain terms she should NOT be telling people to reinstall their operating systems.
Generally speaking, if you don't change anything on your end, then it's not a fault on your end.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
