How long to hear back from HMRC interview?

Has anyone else had interviews with HMRC in their latest recruitment campaign?

I had two interviews in the second half of last month, one in Washington and the other in Long Benton, yet to hear anything.

Anyone with experience of HMRC recruitment know how long it roughly takes to hear back?

    I'm in the same boat!

I also had an interview a couple of weeks ago at Longbenton and have heard absolutely nothing since, I did ask in my interview how long I'd expect to wait before I started, should I be recruited, and my interviewers said around 6 weeks as they were interviewing until April 15 (last Friday - I had my interview on the 4th). So if what they said was accurate, we should both be hearing back soon.

I've also checked my application portal of the Civil Service Jobs site and there's nothing on there yet either.

    Good luck!

Ye I got told we won't hear anything until at least the middle of April if you got told they were still interviewing until April 15 then I can see this dragging on until May! Good luck to you too and thanks Double V!!

I had an interview on 4th March. Still haven't heard anything but I can see the interview slots via my own application and they keep being added. I thought I might hear something after Easter weekend and then another 28 slots were uploaded. Randomly a number score was given for my sift application about 3 weeks ago, but no other information on feedback for that either. It seems to be a very long process and not much empathy for candidates, I'd at least like to know if I've failed the interview or not rather than keep thinking this might be the week I hear back.

I have had an email requesting documents that should have been taken at interview - do you think this is a good sign or they have just sent the same email to everyone whether they're going to be made an offer or not? The email just said Dear Candidate as though it had been sent to a long list.

If you're referring to the same email, I got one about a week before my interview. However, it didn't say that I also had to provide two passport sized photographs. I didn't realise this when I went for my interview as it was never mentioned on any documentation and had to hurriedly return back to the office the same day with the photos. I think it may be because I don't hold a driving licence (I took in a passport, birth certificate, and utility bill as my three forms of ID).

I just wish they'd hurry up and tell us! It does seem to be a long, drawn out process. :(

I got that email on Friday, 7 weeks after my interview. I also took the documents to interview but when no one asked for them I assumed they weren't required at that stage. I'll be disappointed if they've requested personal information 7 weeks after interview to then tell me I'm not even being considered, but it does seem that could be a possibility.

Hmm, that's strange. At my interview once we were escorted into the holding room we were sat down at a table and asked to fill out all the paperwork they wanted doing. At the same time someone took our documents for photocopying, before returning them to us (we were sent up to the holding room in groups of three) before going in for interview. I then returned after my interview after I was informed that they needed passport sized photos. Surely if they were going to reject you, they wouldn't be asking for your documents at this stage? It does seem odd that they didn't take them at interview stage.

All my documents were taken at interview stage, still not heard anything from either job. I also had an EO Work Coach interview last week so I'm praying I get at least one of the positions! Good luck everyone

It's in the ID requirements document on the civil service jobs website, but it only asks for one, did they ask you for two? I'd better take an extra one I guess!
