    Yeah, that's going to have to be the case - I doubt our buyers will wait until November to complete.

    It's all a bit mind boggling though. Our current house is our first house, so all this is new ground for us.

    From your experience though, there shouldn't be any reason to doubt the solicitors that DWH want us to use? From what you said earlier it sounded like you had dealt with Barratt/DWH before yourself?

    I'm sorry hun I can't say if the solicitor is good or not; I just know that not all developer recommended solicitors deserve to get banded under 'estate agent solicitor = bad' as there are plus points to them knowing the development.

    As long as the developer themselves are using a separate firm of solicitors then your chosen firm works for you and your lender.
    Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck :)
