Planning permission needed for waste pipe?

Hi,
I'm having a new bathroom put in which needs an external soil pipe and can't work out if it's permitted development. It is adjacent to a footpath and in a conservation area, which means that an "external flue, chimney, or soil and vent pipe" would need PP, however this doesn't have a vent, as it uses an air admittance valve instead. Would I need PP for the external pipework?

Sounds like that applies to a soil and/ or a vent pipe. Yours isn't a vent pipe but is a soil pipe.... so if those are the conditions then you would need permission.0

It only ever refers to "soil and vent pipe" though, and it's grouped with other types of vent (chimney, flue), which is why I thought it wouldn't apply.0

It says 'soil and vent pipe' not 'soil with a vent pipe' so you will nee PP.0
